Quel dommage qu'un si joli lieu soit si mal géré! Une pause pour un jus de fruit frais cher (9€ pour à peine 20 cl), servi sans raffinement au regard du lieu (un verre quelconque même pas posé sur une soucoupe) , avec une prise de commande longue et un poil condescendante et une attente de service de 20 minutes... décevant...

Sehr enttäuschender Service. Uns wurde beim Hinsetzen ausdrücklich versprochen, dass der Chef uns anschließend an einen anderen, schöneren Tisch setzen würde. Darauf haben wir uns verlassen. Dann wurden uns Getränke und Speisekarten gebracht, obwohl wir von Anfang an nur etwas trinken wollten. Plötzlich war von dem versprochenen Tisch keine Rede mehr. Wir hatten deutlich den Eindruck: Hätten wir Essen bestellt und entsprechend mehr Geld ausgegeben, hätten wir vermutlich auch einen schönen Platz bekommen. So mit Gästen umzugehen, finden wir wirklich eine Frechheit. Wenn man etwas verspricht, sollte man sich auch daran halten – unabhängig davon, ob die Gäste nur etwas trinken oder ein komplettes Essen bestellen. Für uns leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

what about we start hiring some female waitresses!!?? only men waiter felt overwhelming and honestly a little bit uncomfortable. It’s think it’s a bit of a shame. Cute place tho even if it’d be better if you could choose the table you desire.

This café is worth visiting if only for its beautiful garden and location inside Palazzo Franchetti. Capuccino was excellent, pastries are very good, the service is kind and quick. Best to arrive in the morning when it opens (9am), to enjoy some quiet time.
